Analytical chemistry is a scientific discipline focused on examining matter by identifying and measuring its chemical constituents. Our research aims to investigate both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of substances by determining their chemical makeup and the proportions of components within samples.

Our researchers employ their expertise in chemistry, computing, and instrumentation across various experimental methods, supported by cutting-edge facilities. These include high-resolution mass spectrometry, advanced NMR spectroscopy, cryoprobes, HPLC, FPLC, centrifugal partition chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and GC/MS. Faculty research specializes in analytical chemistry applications, particularly bioanalytical studies utilizing fluorescence spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis, and single-molecule detection through functional nanopore systems.
