Employers actively seek candidates who can provide certification demonstrating their fluency in both spoken and written language. The undergraduate Certificate of Language Proficiency enables students to validate their linguistic skills, serving as an excellent enhancement to majors like business, international relations, public health, criminal justice, hospitality, and other fields. This 12-credit program requires 2000- and 3000-level courses (with at least 6 credits at the 3000-level), mandating a grade of B or better on the initial attempt for each class. Courses retaken under the university's Repeat to Replace policy do not qualify as first attempts.
