The demand for professionals capable of safeguarding digital assets and infrastructure is increasing rapidly. This certificate program builds specialized skills in network security, information protection, and cybercrime investigation to combat sophisticated digital threats. To earn the certificate, students must complete 16 credit hours of 4000-level courses from the approved list below, achieving a grade of B or better on the first attempt in each course. All prerequisite requirements for certificate courses must be satisfied. Courses retaken under the university's Repeat to Replace policy do not qualify as first attempts. Typically, enrollment in this certificate program is limited to Computer Science majors who can fulfill all necessary requirements.
