The religious studies curriculum features comparative courses examining world religions, religious thought, ethics, mysticism, and gender in religion, along with specialized courses focusing on traditions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, Taoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - all presented from a non-denominational viewpoint. Majors can apply relevant courses from other Arts and Sciences departments toward their degree, such as African-American studies, anthropology, art history, classics, history, music, political science, and sociology.
