History is a field of study that explores, evaluates, and interprets humanity's past. It serves as the collective archive of human memory and experience. Scholars of history research bygone eras to comprehend our current reality. They scrutinize records to trace the origins of modern society and offer frameworks for assessing today's political movements, ideologies, and cultural developments.

Studying History offers more than captivating narratives—it uncovers recurring themes that clarify present-day politics, beliefs, and traditions. Grasping contemporary global events requires insight into historical precedents. Challenges in the Middle East, struggles for civil liberties, and sectarian tensions all have roots stretching back millennia. Perimeter College's history curriculum delivers comprehensive examinations of these topics, equipping students with the historical perspective needed for informed judgments and thoughtful life decisions.
