However, in Architectural History and Theory, aesthetic inquiry primarily revolves around interiority—an aspect that eludes other fields. While prominent historical and theoretical thinkers have significantly influenced aesthetic discussions, these disciplines alone cannot resolve its core questions. Studies on Gothic representation methods, Goethe's morphological theories, Vitruvius's principles, or the contributions of Ruskin and Morris consistently reveal that design follows intrinsic principles rather than external influences.
