The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) provides a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering (BS EnvE). This program equips students with core scientific knowledge and engineering fundamentals to tackle contemporary environmental challenges, including sustainable management of air, water, and land resources, public health protection, and ecosystem rehabilitation. During their first two years, students study physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, English composition, and foundational engineering courses. The third year delves into advanced engineering subjects such as solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and hands-on laboratories covering engineering materials, hydraulic engineering, and environmental monitoring and process engineering. The final year emphasizes elective coursework, enabling students to choose from specialized areas like biological processes, sustainability, air pollution, and water resources, alongside technical and design electives. A capstone design course in the senior year integrates multidisciplinary principles, offering students the adaptability to create customized elective sequences aligned with their academic and professional goals while ensuring a thorough engineering design education.
Applicants must have International Baccalaureate Diploma.
