The International Business and Economic Law (IBEL) LL.M. program offers a versatile curriculum tailored for those pursuing careers in global commerce and its governing legal frameworks. This degree enables students to study core U.S. regulatory systems while specializing in international business sectors of their choice. Participants can either build broad expertise by selecting courses across multiple fields—including corporate governance, securities regulation, international trade, commercial transactions, and conflict resolution—or focus intensely on specific practice areas. The program accommodates students seeking New York Bar qualification while earning their IBEL degree. While externships are available, they typically don't count toward specialization credits unless approved by the Program Director.
