The JD/MSFS dual degree is a comprehensive four-year, full-time program requiring 115 credits, blending courses from the MSFS core curriculum with international law studies. Students typically complete 24 MSFS credits in their first year, followed by 31 JD credits in the second year, with the remaining years combining coursework from both programs. While simultaneous application to both programs is ideal, candidates may also apply during their first year of either the Georgetown JD or MSFS program. All admission materials should clearly state dual degree intentions. For joint degree applicants, MSFS permits the LSAT as an alternative to the GRE or GMAT, though standardized tests remain optional for MSFS admission.
