Georgetown Law provides comprehensive education in international economic law and regulation, situated in Washington, D.C., the world's hub for legal and commercial affairs. Our prime location enables students to gain hands-on experience through placements at prestigious organizations like the World Trade Organization, International Monetary Fund, and World Bank. The faculty comprises distinguished academics and practicing attorneys specializing in international finance, trade, taxation, business transactions, sovereign debt resolution, and arbitration. Beyond diverse course offerings, students can acquire real-world skills via externships and internships with global institutions and NGOs. Graduate students may earn either an International Business and Economic Law degree or a World Trade Organization Studies certificate.
