The Trachtenberg School's Master of Public Administration (MPA) equips students with the skills to lead public service organizations across various sectors.

This program offers comprehensive study of management and policy within intergovernmental and cross-sector frameworks. The curriculum emphasizes building analytical abilities, critical thinking, and ethical awareness fundamental to public service. Each TSPPPA master's candidate undertakes a pro bono capstone initiative for a selected organization.

MPA graduates secure positions across government agencies, nonprofit organizations, research institutions, consulting firms, and corporate settings.
This specialization caters to those pursuing careers in state and municipal governance. It explores the political economy of regional governments, compares different local governance models, and examines urban challenges with their potential solutions. Students may, with advisor approval, incorporate additional relevant coursework from related disciplines.
