The graduate certificate in public health aims to provide students with a solid foundational knowledge of all public health components. This program covers the core coursework of the Master of Public Health degree and is designed for those who want to explore public health without enrolling in a full degree program, working professionals seeking eligibility for the public health certification exam, or individuals considering a public health degree but undecided about their specialization.
The 15-credit certificate program can count toward an MPH degree if students choose to continue their education. Students can complete the certificate either on-campus or online, offering flexibility to balance personal and professional responsibilities. Online courses follow a 10-week module schedule throughout the year (four modules annually), while in-person classes are held on campus in 14-week modules. Students must finish the certificate within two years of enrollment.
