The School of Business MBA program delivers an exceptional business education through flexible full-time and part-time options tailored to working professionals' schedules. This comprehensive curriculum equips students with essential business knowledge while developing advanced administrative skills and a deep awareness of business's global and ethical contexts. The program prioritizes technological applications, data analysis, and hands-on learning experiences to accomplish these educational objectives.
The two-year Global MBA immerses students in conventional business training while emphasizing key principles like international leadership, ethical practices, environmental sustainability, and social accountability. Global MBA participants learn to adopt broader viewpoints and make decisions that balance profitability with societal benefits.
Before fall semester begins, incoming students participate in MBA Runway - a three-week on-campus orientation introducing them to graduate business studies, peers, faculty, alumni networks, university resources, and Washington DC living. The Global MBA's first year centers on foundational coursework combining classroom instruction, case analyses, group work, and practical learning. The year culminates with the international Consulting Abroad Program (CAP), providing direct exposure to global business operations. During the second year, students concentrate on career specialization while enhancing their technical and analytical capabilities through targeted coursework and STEM electives.
