The Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science of Language (CogSci-Language) is an innovative undergraduate program provided by GWU's Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.
Also referred to as psycholinguistics, cognitive science of language examines how language interacts with mental processes and brain functions. Students in this major develop scientific reasoning and research abilities to formulate theories and investigate communication patterns, from social behaviors (like online interactions) to personal communication styles and language disorders.
