Students enrolled in any Elliott School major must fulfill the General Bachelor's Program Requirements. Those pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in international affairs (BAIA) must also complete all three BAIA-specific major requirements listed below, along with demonstrating third-year competency in a modern foreign language, either through testing or academic coursework.
The Contemporary Cultures and Societies emphasis explores global communities through their own viewpoints, examining how individuals structure their societies, interact with political and economic systems at various levels, and influence international programs and policies. Central themes encompass quality of life, environmental sustainability, and equitable social systems.

Applicants must submit official transcript copies representative of their entire secondary school career. We consider secondary school to be four years of academic study including the current year in progress.
