Bachelor's Degree
The dual degree program, offering either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Economics alongside a Master of Public Policy, integrates economics studies with graduate-level courses at GW's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration (TSPPPA). By enrolling in up to 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies, participants can fast-track their master's degree completion.
Economics majors considering this path may submit their MPP applications in their junior year after earning 75 credit hours. It's advisable, however, for students to reach out to the MPP Director of Graduate Studies by their sophomore year's second semester for preliminary guidance before beginning the application process.
