Students enrolled in the BA program with a human factors and applied cognition specialization complete 12-13 credit hours. A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required for all concentration-related courses. Those participating in the Psychology Department Honors Program (PSYC 490, 491, and 492) may replace one concentration course with their honors thesis/project, provided it focuses on human factors or applied cognition and receives approval from both their thesis committees and the undergraduate studies associate chair. To earn the human factors and applied cognition concentration, students must take the core course PSYC 317, the biopsychology requirement PSYC 372, plus two elective courses.
