Gannon's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program, accredited by ACBSP, offers specialized tracks in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, International Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance, Sport Management and Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. Starting in academic year 2024-25, the BSBA degree and all its concentrations will transition to a Bachelor of Science format with major-focused studies.
Students pursuing Entrepreneurship can join Gannon's Entrepreneurship Club, participate in regional pitch competitions, or guide high school students as entrepreneurial mentors. Entrepreneurs are innovators who develop novel concepts, products, ventures, and markets by embracing risk and demonstrating initiative. Their fundamental focus is generating customer value by spotting opportunities and mobilizing necessary resources. The entrepreneurship curriculum features a distinctive course progression that fosters creativity and equips students with the mindset and tools to transform ideas into tangible outcomes. Learners will engage with cutting-edge education at the Center for Business Ingenuity, working with advanced technologies and international software platforms. Practical experience comes through internships, community projects with regional and national companies, and collaborative initiatives involving Gannon's Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center, and Erie Technology Incubator.
