Our curriculum and hands-on training cultivate: expertise in grasping special education fundamentals and policies, along with skills in evaluating and delivering research-backed interventions and teaching methods for culturally diverse teens with various disabilities. During the first year's fall and spring terms, students spend three full days weekly in classrooms: three weeks of observation followed by ten weeks of student teaching in the same setting. In the second year, this intensifies to five full days weekly - two weeks of observation and twelve weeks of student teaching in the same classroom.
