The Master of Science Advanced Professional program is designed for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. This MS program offers two specialization paths: The MS Project pathway focuses on enhancing interior design practice through in-depth design process and project expertise. Students engage in thorough programming research and related activities, developing a comprehensive design project of their choosing across three semesters. The MS Research pathway prepares students for evidence-based design research or academic careers in interior design, serving as a foundation for pursuing a Ph.D. degree. In this track, students perform original research and complete a formal university thesis.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or a comparable degree from an international institution, with a minimum 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average (GPA) in all coursework attempted while enrolled as an upper-division undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree
