The J.D./M.S.I. joint degree program between the College of Law and School of Information allows students to pursue both degrees simultaneously. Law students interested in this pathway should consult with the College of Law's joint program coordinator and submit all required application materials by July 1 after either their first or second year. The coordinator will then forward the complete application package to both schools for review. Applicants who have already taken M.S.I. courses before entering law school, or who wish to apply during their third year, must secure advance written permission from the College of Law before submitting their joint program application.
Applicants to the M.S.I. program must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and an upper division (junior and senior) grade point average of 3.0 or better.
