Florida State University offers an integrated doctoral program in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology, equipping students with essential competencies to become health service psychologists. Alumni of our counseling psychology track pursue careers across diverse professional environments. Additionally, our students drive progress in the field through academic research and scholarly work.
This dual-degree initiative establishes a shared foundation in both research methodologies and practical applications. As participants progress through the coursework, they can specialize in either counseling psychology or school psychology, with the possibility of pursuing both specializations simultaneously. Graduates qualify for psychologist licensure in Florida upon completing the program.
