The Department of Statistics at Florida State University provides doctoral programs in both statistics and biostatistics. Each student's curriculum and specific degree requirements are customized in collaboration with their advisory committee. FSU's Statistics Department maintains a robust undergraduate program alongside dynamic M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Statistics, Biostatistics, and Data Science. Faculty members engage in diverse research fields such as machine learning, high-dimensional data analysis, network studies, survival and longitudinal research, Bayesian methods, shape/object data examination, causal inference, and privacy-preserving data techniques.

A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is the minimum requirement for admission
If you do not wish to be considered for funding, you must have a minimum score of the following on one of the following tests:
TOEFL Overall: 80
MELAB: 80
IELTS Overall: 6.5
