Annually, the college presents approximately 350 performances and productions while frequently hosting major events like the biennial Festival of New Music, along with national conferences and workshops.
The Choral Conducting Program enjoys global recognition for its exceptional students and instructional excellence. Under the leadership of Dr. Kevin Fenton (Undergraduate Choral Studies) and Dr. Michael Hanawalt (Graduate Choral Studies), participants gain abundant conducting experience across various contexts. Students work as teaching assistants and assistant conductors for choral groups and the Florida State Opera Company.
