FSU-Teach enables students to simultaneously earn an undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Mathematics, or Physics while completing a second major in secondary education. This streamlined program requires no extra credit hours, as education courses fulfill elective requirements. Students can complete their content degree in four years while becoming fully certified and highly-qualified educators upon graduation.
The FSU College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences provides diverse undergraduate program options. Important: Graduates from our BS/MS teacher education programs qualify for Florida Professional Educator Certification and gain comprehensive preparation for teaching careers and professional advancement.
The School of Teacher Education is dedicated to excellence in educator preparation, statewide service, and research across multiple disciplines including elementary education, early childhood development, literacy instruction, special education, visual impairments, and related fields. We offer rigorous programs for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students through quality instruction, academic guidance, and professional mentorship.
