Florida State University's College of Business provides qualified undergraduate students with opportunities to fast-track their education through combined bachelor's/master's programs. These pathways enable students to apply certain graduate-level courses toward both degrees, potentially reducing both time and tuition costs.
Today's digital-driven economy demands managers with specialized skills in leveraging information technology for business advantage. The Management Information Systems (MIS) program, offered through the Department of Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain, equips students with the technical and business expertise needed to thrive in dynamic markets and oversee system development projects.
The MIS curriculum builds on core business principles, teaching fundamental operations (including accounting, finance, and marketing), system design methodologies, database management, programming skills, and practical applications of technology in solving business challenges.

Qualification Requirements

An applicant who desires admission as a first year in college student must be graduated from a regionally accredited high school (or comparable international institution). All transcripts/academic records that are not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. If the transcript/academic record does not indicate the degree earned and date the degree was awarded, separate proof of degree is required. We require freshman applicants to submit at least one ACT and/or SAT test score to be considered for admission. Florida State does not require the optional ACT writing score or the optional SAT essay. We encourage applicants to take both the ACT and SAT, and to attempt each exam more than one time to earn the highest possible score.
