The Department of Interior Architecture & Design provides both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in interior design, both accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). While no minor is available, certain courses may be open to non-majors depending on space.
The CIDA-accredited interior design curriculum equips graduates for professional practice, further education, and joining industry associations. Florida State University's Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts programs fulfill the educational prerequisites for taking the NCIDQ Examination administered by the Council for Interior Design Qualification.
