The College of Music serves as home base for multiple campus performance groups including orchestras, wind ensembles, choirs, jazz bands, historical music groups, 9 global music ensembles, and various chamber groups, alongside the Florida State Opera and Music Theater Program. Annually, we present approximately 350 performances and events while welcoming major national gatherings, masterclasses, and celebrations like our biennial Festival of New Music. Our distinguished legacy informs our commitment to quality and drives our pursuit of ongoing improvement. Yet our true measure lies in how we serve you - the aspiring musicians who will fill our practice rooms, lecture halls, and teaching spaces.
