The Department of Interior Architecture & Design provides Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts programs in interior design, both accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). While no minor is available, certain courses may be open to non-majors depending on space.
These CIDA-accredited interior design degrees equip graduates for professional practice, further education, and joining design associations.
Florida State University's Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts fulfill the educational prerequisites for taking the NCIDQ Examination, qualifying graduates for interior design certification.
