The School of Communication provides undergraduate programs in communication and digital media, offering two specializations (digital media production and media/communications studies), along with a professional communication degree featuring two concentrations (advertising and public relations). These programs are structured around different societal applications of communication competencies. This diverse curriculum enables learners to tailor their coursework to align with their specific career aspirations, creative pursuits, or scholarly objectives. Every specialization includes a curated set of classes aimed at achieving defined learning outcomes and professional objectives. While some tracks focus on practical skills development and others emphasize theoretical foundations within a liberal arts framework, all programs expose students to comprehensive communication principles and practices while fostering comprehension of essential interpersonal and media-based communication systems. Typically, completing a specialization takes approximately two academic years.
