FIU's MSHRM program offers flexible weekend courses that can be finished in one year full-time or two years part-time, with a fully online one-year option available. The program's curriculum:

A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
Our Master of Science in Human Resource Management candidates are highly motivated professionals intent on reaching that next level of leadership success. Admission to the program is competitive. Applications are evaluated holistically based on a variety of factors including undergraduate GPA, employment experience, a statement of purpose, letters of recommendations, and standardized test scores. Our admissions team carefully screens each application to ensure candidates are an optimal fit for the program demands and objectives.
To be eligible for admission to the MSHRM program, applicants must demonstrate academic and professional preparedness. Admissions are based on a portfolio approach:
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
GPA in upper divisions (3.0 preferred)
Professional experience in human resources*
Full-time work experience
GMAT or GRE
Statement of Purpose
Two letters of recommendation
Interviews conducted upon submission of complete portfolio
A minimum of five years of professional full-time work experience of which three years are in human resources is preferred but not required. Applicants with professional, non-human resource work experience may also be considered. If no work experience, a graduate degree from an accredited university with a 3.0 GPA may be considered.
GMAT/GRE may be waived for applicants with strong academic credentials. Applicants with a 3.0 or higher GPA are likely to be waived from the GRE/GMAT exam.
An interview may be requested upon submission of a complete portfolio.
Applicants who hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution where the language of instruction is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by taking either:

TOEFL (minimum scores are: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, and 80 internet-based)
IELTS (minimum score is 6.5)
Pearson Test of English Academic (minimum score is 53)
Cambridge English Advanced
Duolingo (test score of 105 or above may substitute for TOEFL or IELTS)
