Our School Counseling program equips you to become a skilled counselor capable of supporting diverse and multicultural students, their families, and educators in K-12 environments. The curriculum covers both the delivery and management of school counseling programs. Graduates qualify for national school counselor certification as well as Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) guidance and counseling credentials.
Students without an education background must complete FLDOE-mandated general professional education courses to fulfill Florida's state certification standards.
