The LACC Graduate Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies provides interdisciplinary graduate education focused on Latin America and the Caribbean region. Participants gain access to LACC's extensive network of faculty specialists, policymakers, cultural figures, community organizers, and alumni across the Americas. This adaptable program accommodates both daytime and evening schedules. Foreign applicants must have a TOEFL* score of 550 or higher.
Students enrolled in the LACC Graduate Certificate Program have the option of applying for the Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies program.
For all applicants we require official transcripts from all previously attended institutions. Transcripts to be considered official must come in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing institution.
A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
International graduate student applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A total score of 80 on the IBT TOEFL or 6.5 overall on the IELTS is required.
