Operations research analysts collaborate with organizations to enhance their business processes. They develop mathematical models to analyze data, enabling companies to boost efficiency, optimize assets, refine policies, and make better operational decisions.

Florida Tech's master's program in operations research stands among the nation's select few. Focusing on advanced mathematics and stochastic theory, this interdisciplinary field bridges mathematical concepts with areas like industrial design and operations management. Students customize their degree to align with their professional goals and personal interests.

Beyond the master's degree, Florida Tech provides a doctoral program in operations research.

Since its introduction, operations research has been extensively utilized by both private and public sectors for resource allocation decisions and addressing intricate challenges in design, planning, and logistics. Those pursuing a master's in operations research learn to employ computational modeling, simulation techniques, and optimization strategies to evaluate business decisions and determine optimal solutions.
