Aviation incidents result in significant human casualties, substantial financial losses, and eroded public trust for airlines. The field of applied aviation safety equips professionals with methodologies that extend beyond accident investigation to proactively anticipate and mitigate risks. Students pursuing Florida Tech's Master of Science in Administration with an aviation safety specialization explore critical areas including safety protocols, risk assessment strategies, workforce protection initiatives, and similar subjects.

Notably, Florida Tech's graduate program in aviation safety ranks among the nation's premier university aviation curricula, educating aspiring professionals and developing future industry leaders with specialized knowledge. The institution has further distinction as one of select universities chosen for the FAA Center of Excellence Partnership, which focuses on advancing general aviation safety, accessibility, and sustainability through funded research initiatives.
