The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) program equips graduates to deliver comprehensive primary care for women at all life stages. Through innovative curriculum and research initiatives, our faculty and students are pioneering advancements in women's healthcare. The program emphasizes specialized care for women's health needs from adolescence through later years, addressing biological factors while considering social, cultural, and environmental influences. WHNPs provide care that recognizes how gender, socioeconomic status, cultural background, sexual identity, and systemic power dynamics intersect with health outcomes.
