While the program adapted its approach to offer specialized instruction in compliance with University safety protocols, it does not intend to continue remote or online learning options. The counselor education curriculum is shaped by constructivist and developmental teaching philosophies, along with diverse, multicultural, and research-backed educational frameworks.

Learners encounter multiple instructional approaches such as paired activities, teamwork exercises, scenario simulations, case analysis, interactive group projects, applied learning opportunities, traditional lectures, expert presentations, and self-directed study.

This academic pathway equips graduates for careers in clinical mental health counseling across various professional environments including agencies, private practices, and related healthcare settings.
