The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) degree is available through both in-person and online formats. This undergraduate program aims to equip students with the ability to effectively utilize and support computer technologies that address the varied demands of businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and other organizations. Graduates will gain the expertise needed for entry-level IT roles, career advancement into leadership positions, or further academic pursuits. The on-campus IT curriculum features five specialization tracks: Information Assurance and Security (IAS), Health Informatics (HI), Data Mining (DM), Mobile Computing (MC), and Web Design (WD). Online IT students must fulfill identical degree requirements, including completing three courses in each of two chosen specializations. Initially, the online program will provide IAS and MC concentrations, with plans to introduce DM and WD options within two years. The CIS Department also intends to collaborate with the School of Allied Health Sciences to incorporate the HI specialization into the online program.
