Industrial Engineering (IE) is the field dedicated to optimizing manufacturing and industrial systems to achieve peak efficiency and quality while minimizing expenses. IE focuses on enhancing quality, cost-effectiveness, productivity, safety, and environmental sustainability across manufacturing and service sectors. Industrial engineers analyze processes, pinpoint areas of strength and weakness, and implement enhancements. They determine the most effective methods for businesses and institutions to manufacture products and deliver services, serving entities like airlines, hospitals, government bodies, manufacturing firms, and educational institutions.
The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering aims to offer students a robust industrial engineering education combined with a dynamic research agenda shaped by society's economic and technological advancement requirements.
Students should have completed high school education.

English language requirements
Applicants whose native language is not English must take an English proficiency exam. The following are the minimum scores required for undergraduate admission to the University:

Computer-based TOEFL: 173
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6
