The Chemistry Department's mission is to give students a solid foundation in chemical principles and theories while developing their analytical and problem-solving abilities, preparing them for graduate studies and professional opportunities in chemistry and related fields.
All programs are accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS), which has officially recognized the department. Our faculty has tailored the curriculum to support undergraduates aiming for research positions, advanced chemistry degrees, or pre-professional tracks in medicine and dentistry.
The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program equips graduates for either direct entry into the workforce or continued academic pursuits at the graduate level.
