The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (B.S.A.S.) is a four-year foundational program providing comprehensive training in architectural principles. The curriculum splits into two phases: pre-architecture (first two years - lower division) and architecture (final two years - upper division). Applicants can enroll as first-year students or transfer from a two-year institution.
Successful B.S.A.S. graduates may pursue advanced degrees like professional architecture programs (B.Arch. or M.Arch.) or FAMU's Master of Science in Architecture--Facilities Management. Alternatively, they can join the construction sector working with architectural firms or explore diverse career paths including urban planning, environmental law, land development, or property management.
