The department provides a five-year integrated undergraduate-graduate program culminating in both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science (MS). This Pathway aims to develop an engineer fully prepared for professional industry practice within five years of full-time study. Students start their core graduate coursework during their fourth year. Completing the fourth year successfully grants sufficient credits and subject diversity to meet university BS degree requirements, accommodating students unable to continue into the fifth year due to personal situations. Additionally, this Pathway incorporates a Summer industry internship between the fourth and fifth years.

Qualification Requirements
The university provides an early admission program for outstanding high school students who demonstrate potential to do college-level work. Requirements are: Minimum SAT 1010 or ACT 21. "B" average in academic subjects. Recommendation from high school principal or designated representative. The grade point average will be computed on the academic units only. Grades in honors, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced Placement courses will be given additional weight in the computation
