The Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Science program equips students with specialized training in either diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular sonography, offered through a collaborative partnership between FDU and Rutgers University's School of Health Professions (SHP). Candidates are required to finish 92 pre-professional credit hours during their initial three years at FDU before becoming eligible to apply for the professional phase at Rutgers during their final year.
