After successfully finishing a hospital-based program and obtaining licensure or credentialing as an Allied Health Practitioner, Fairleigh Dickinson University grants at least thirty credits (30) toward a Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree. These transferred credits fulfill the university's lower division prerequisites. The School of Nursing and Allied Health marks 67 years of delivering outstanding nursing education, with this year's graduating class numbering 3,679. Established as a department in 1952 - a decade after Fairleigh Dickinson University's founding - it became the School of Nursing in 1993 and expanded to include Allied Health in 2019. Since 2015, the School has provided programs at both FDU's Metropolitan and Florham Campuses.
