The Sculpture program's core strength is its cross-disciplinary approach, allowing students to explore and thrive through either non-material-focused or discipline-specific methods in sculptural creation. Our BFA and MFA programs provide training in diverse skill sets addressing fundamental aspects of object creation and conceptual development, including metal and wood fabrication, ferrous and non-ferrous casting, cold casting, and mixed media techniques.
Our curriculum merges time-honored and modern perspectives in design, craftsmanship, and technological innovation. You'll engage in a vibrant, multifaceted studio environment using both conventional tools and materials, while also exploring various methods and aesthetics across spatial, installation, intermedia, and transmedia art forms. Students benefit from dedicated studio spaces and round-the-clock access to top-tier facilities and equipment.
The program's multimedia components add another dimension of professional skill development. Graduates emerge with clear artistic visions, prepared to navigate diverse opportunities in cutting-edge creative fields.
