Individuals who earn MDiv/MBA or MTS/MBA degrees frequently pursue careers in church leadership, financial stewardship for religious institutions, personal asset management, and estate planning services. This collaborative program with Emory's Goizueta Business School enables students to finish both degrees faster than pursuing them individually - taking four years for the MDiv/MBA combination and three years for the MTS/MBA option.
Students must apply to the business school and the Candler School of Theology separately. If a student is accepted to both programs, they can enroll in the MTS/MBA. We look at the test scores, GPA, work experience, essays, recommendations and interview when evaluating candidates.
Applicants to Goizueta Business School are required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Candidates should prepare vigorously for the quantitative portion of the test as candidates are expected to exceed the 50th percentile on the quantitative section of the exam. Most of our students score at the 75-80th percentile.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
