Emory's Laney Graduate School provides a PhD program in epidemiology, preparing students for careers as independent researchers in academic, governmental, and private sector roles. This doctoral program at Emory University equips students with epidemiological methodologies and their application to diverse public health and medical challenges. Study concentrations encompass cancer, cardiovascular disorders, maternal-child health, nutrition and exercise science, epidemiological techniques, infectious diseases (including HIV/AIDS), genetic and molecular epidemiology, social determinants of health, and health inequities.
