The Film and Media Studies Department aims to help students integrate media literacy into their daily routines by encouraging thoughtful analysis of how visuals and audio shape concepts. Our program educates both undergraduate and graduate students to become astute viewers, researchers, and creators within influential cultural media. This is achieved through comprehensive studies of U.S. and global cinema and television history, media theory and analysis techniques, along with hands-on training in fiction and documentary film production methods.
