The Engineering Physics Master of Science program offers students the chance to work alongside leading specialists in the discipline, many of whom have secured research grants for significant scientific investigations. The program accommodates both recent graduates and experienced professionals equally well. Graduates will emerge with specialized knowledge in Applied Physics, particularly focused on Space Science and Engineering Physics applications.
This curriculum places special focus on scientific instrumentation, practical optics, remote sensing technologies, spacecraft components (including power systems, attitude control, and thermal regulation), along with diverse subjects within space science and engineering.
With a strong research focus, the Engineering Physics program features most Physical Sciences Department faculty engaged in cutting-edge space science and engineering research. These investigations encompass satellite system experiments, sounding rocket missions, terrestrial remote-sensing projects, and complementary theoretical research in space systems engineering, upper atmospheric studies, space physics, and plasma/magnetospheric phenomena.
