The A.S. in Emergency Management equips graduates with crucial skills for preventing and responding to emergencies throughout the national preparedness framework.
Embry‚ÄëRiddle's Associate of Science in Emergency Management delivers a thorough grounding in handling diverse hazards across the preparedness spectrum, including Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), spanning prevention through recovery. This program builds expertise in emergency administration, strategic planning, and crisis response, with particular attention to leadership development. The curriculum highlights the National Response Framework (NRF) and Incident Command System (ICS), teaching students to implement inclusive community strategies that enhance disaster resilience. Graduates emerge prepared to lead in the dynamic field of emergency management, which integrates military and civilian perspectives within an all-hazards approach.
All international students must provide a copy of their valid passport for immigration purposes.
All International undergraduate applicants who have any educational experience outside the United States may be required to provide an official evaluation in English including the cumulative grade-point average. High school students are required to have a document-by-document evaluation.
SAT and/or ACT standardized test scores are optional for admission but are required for merit scholarship consideration for first-time incoming students.
